I had the identical wolf whistle on my 55 Chevy, and I used a brake handle and cable off an English 3 speed bike. That worked great because I didn't need a straight pull like when using a stiff wire.

Mitch said it was a accessory??? An actual 'wolf whistle'? Can't see using it for two reasons, one, why would I use it at my age and....I get sued for sexual harassment. Of course the old Dears here at the Home would get a kick out of it.

Did it have a real purpose????

31 Model A When you a chance, change out the fuel line as copper work hardens and will break causing fuel to spill. Steel ones are not prone to work hardening. JMHO.

Rust streak is located in the rib going up the fan blade. 2 blade aluminum one is safer.
