I just spent a good part of my morning reading the responses to the thread about "Answering Questions" and I would like to comment that every one of the many responses were spot on and some were very well written and answered the comment with great skill. It is a pleasure to belong to such a group as this and I want to thank you all for letting me say my piece every once in a while. Sometimes we all have our moods, and one day feel may feel compassionate and helpful and another day be sarcastic, but that's the way it is... here, as at work or home.

I come here about three times a day to see what's going on. The names have become familiar. Unfortunately, I have never met any of you personally face to face, but when I see a regular name on a response, I know I can get the real answer, some humor and possibly, at times, a bit of attitude, should it be somebody's off-day, but I have come to know what to expect from most of you and enjoy you all in one way or another.

If this were a club, I would like to thank you all for having someone such as myself as a member.

This forum is really a wealth of information and I also check it out a couple of times a day but not a heavy poster as the majority of the time if I do a search there is generally someone who in the past had the same question. Think the people who have an attitude when they reply are just good folks who know quite a lot are not very patient, but they are well worth the insults and real valuable to us who are new to Model As.
 
I"m 26 now and currently have 2 model a's and before I discovered fordbarn I would try and google questions and find randoms sites to no prevail! I logged on 2 years ago and made a quick thread and was shocked within 5 minutes had people responding to me!

great site!!!!

Also makes my day go faster at work! haha
 
im as new as you can get.i have fallen in love with the model a. as well as the t.ive only discovered this forum in the last week or 2.ive heard about it while on the hamb.i spent about 6 hrs a nite on the hamb. which now cut down to few hrs and the fordbarn is taking over.lol . there seems to be a wealth of information on here and i want to learn all this old tired and damaged brain can handle.RcT is dead on,on his post.hope to learn and contribute all i can thanks guys ken sorry RcT, wasnt trying to hijack your post, just agreeing with you.
 
I bounce around and read 3-5 car related websites during the day along with the "Auction" site. The Ford Barn has Model A guys at different degrees of "enjoyment" in the hobby, once you can deside were a poster is coming from, understanding his replies becomes a bit easier. I only know two Ford Barn members personally, so your avatar is the first thing I look at before reading your post. I know the ones to pass by and that makes for an enjoyable visit.

I love the barn even the occasional b.s. I quit looking at that post after my last comment. long live the A and the barn!! you're all a great bunch of guys, didn't realize how addicted I was til it was down for those excruciatingly long 20 minutes. Hope to run into each an every one someday at a show/event....Thanks Ryan for keeping such an asset to the hobby alive and Shelly for those early years!!!!
 
All too often I find myself with a question as I work on our A. Getting useful answers on here is a snap. The knowledge and experience available on here is amazing. Thanks, Ryan, for maintaining this site and thanks to all the old (and not so old) curmudgeons that live on here!

For those that don't have the luck of having a good Model A Chapter near them the Barn is an invaluable tool. Long before I found our local club the Barn has been my "Go To" place for information.
