Mecums aution Kissimmee $28,000
The exterior color is more or less correct for '35, unfortunately the interior and rumble seat upholstery color is way off the original. It's more like that for a '36 roadster.
We know nothing of the body, especially the floor which is a weak sport in '35s and '36s, often rusted out and patched up. On the other hand, perhaps it was a bargain.
From what I am hearing it was more the “condition”. I heard it did not show very well “in person”, very orange peely paint, etc etc so sounds as if water found its correct level!!!

I have a friend who just sold his 35 roadster for $90,000 on Bring a Trailer. Exceptionally well done car with a 221 V-8 with Eddie Meyer heads and a Columbia 2 speed. Quality still brings the money.
