year changed to 15'' rims

What year did they go 5 X 5 1/2 x 15'' rims--would like to change my 16'' on 41 pick-up to 15'' X 5 X 5 1/2 rims-tires--Thanks

Ford trucks had 15 inch 5 1/2 for many years, at least into the 70's I think.

Ford kept the hubcap mounting tabs the same up through 1965 pickups.
However, the 1966 through the mid 90's pickups kept the 5.5" bolt circle,
but they had larger 10 1/4 inch hubcap mounts.
