Does anyone know this fellow yankee MIke from Raleigh NC ? I paid 300.00 for a 1940 ford dash ,gauges and glove box door back on 4-1-11. STILL haven't received my parts. Very bad communication with promises of quick shipment and various other excuses. Last communucation from him was on 5-11-11 . said my parts were sent to wrong person and he would send asap. he will not answer emails for over a weekor so. I don't want to trash anyone here but I do want my parts or a refund. Does anyone here have any experience with or know him? I am thinking of pusuing a postal mail fraud complaint if this is not resolved soon. Paid with postal money order and have all emails and receipts in order. Any advice, help, or experience in this matter would be appreciated. I don't plan on just letting this go, 300.00 is a lot of money to an hourly worker like me. thanks
 
I had the same problem, Waited about a month Emailed repeatedly No answer. Finally arrived postmarked two days before I recieved them. $350 for 3 Stromberg 97/48 carb.cores mostly unusable, Extreme corrosion and pitting, parts removed. He told me the were good complete rebuildable cores.
I hope you have better luck than I did, Bill
 
call the state attorney general's office and have them send you the information as to file a complaint, our state takes a dim view of such criminal acts.

I thank everyone for their help and thoughts on this matter, I have made up my mind to do everything within reason not to let this guy rip me off. I have a post on the Hamb as well as on here. For the record it is not a North CAROLINA thing, I have purchased other parts with no problem at all from fine people in this fine state . I will contact the moderator. thanks again.
 
For what it's worth, his profile shows that his last activity on Fordbarn was at 6 pm today, so he's definitely still around.
 
If you aren't involved in anyway with this - don't post.
The squabling back and forth by parties not even involve doesn't help me:( or this in anyway and just takes more time for me to delete posts.
 
Hey, thats great, and i think your posting your problem oh here, Fordbarn, had a lot to do with him wanting to get this settled and to make the problem go away, let us know
