Any issues putting a 60 Ford truck motor in a 56 Ford passenger car? Both are v8 stick.Car is 3 speed on the column and the truck is 4 speed.I will use the car transmission. The car i believe is a 272 and the truck is a 292 or 312.

You will need to use the car oil pan and pickup, motor mounts, exhaust manifolds, etc. Truck timing cover can be used if you don't plan on using the steady rest. may have to move oil dipstick to timing cover.

Use the truck intake, carb and distributor. Better system than the '56 Load-o-matic distributor.

It's probably a 292, Ford never put 312's in trucks.
