Y-block fuel or electrical problem ?

My 55 Ford with 272 engine standard shift has a problem.
The car runs and idles well for about 20 minutes then as I am just running along nicely the engine will start to miss and then buck just like it suddenly has a lack of fuel. My local mechanic friend said he thinks it is electrical so I checked the plug wires and distributor cap and all looked good
I did change out my electric fuel pump out and problem still there. The fuel filter is new.
It seems to be only an issue when engine warms to regular temp.
Could this be a coil problem ?
Could this be a condenser problem ?
All suggestion are welcome...thanks

You didn't say if still 6v or has it been changed to 12v, and if recently changed to 12v, if it is 12v, when it acts up feel the coil, if its overly hot, a resistor is needed, or the one used isn't working.

Is your car also hard to restart after it warms up? I've heard that's also a coil problem. My wagon used to do that, but after I changed the coil during my rewiring project the problem went away.

I ended up doing three (3) things to the engine and the problem is cured...not sure which was the most contributing factor.

#1...one very loose #4 spark plug which I could turn with my finger.
#2...I changed condenser.
#3...sooty spark plus...leaned out the carburetor....Just to let all know, Car runs great now & with additional power.
