Y-block clutch question

I have a nicely rebuilt 292 for my 1962 unibody. I have a good rug transmission and a truck three speed bellhousing which I have mated together. My question, after going cross-eyed looking, is what type of clutch assembly do I now need. Thought I new. Could anyone give me the simple answer? Sure would appreciate it.

A diaphram assembly will give you an easy pedal to push. I have a Centerforce assembly behind my 312 an am very happy with it. Go to www.centerforce.com and find one that meets all your specs (input shaft size, number of teeth on input shaft and overall diameter). That is what I did. Jegs and Summit carry Centerforce clutches. Don't forget a new throwout bearing.

The trucks had the much better 11" clutch disc . The drag racers used the truck clutches back in the day .

If you have a 11 inch clutch, 10 spline, 1 & 1/16 diameter input shaft, then check out Centerforce Dual friction # DF7000000. This is what I used, but my trans is a toploader. I bought it from Street Side Auto (Kansas)-their price was less and there was a free shipping deal going on.
