Ok, all you Y-Block afficiotous, here is your chance to have a tri power sytem on your motor that ain't like your buddies and packs a bit more punch than the common 97's or the 94's.
The foundation is the reputed to be the top rated intake for the Y-Block and that is the Edelbrock #573. It has bigger ports to match the Rochester 2G throttles. Next is custom made conversion risers (also port matched) from the standard 3 bolt to the 4 bolt 2G. Now, the carbies. They are the early '57-'59 tiny base 2G units that have become quite scarce here of late. Totally rebuilt and configured to run as a true tri-power. Coupled with Heim end progressive linkage and polished fuel delivery system utilizing a 14 " fuel rail and polished hardline as well as a Marshall liquid filled pressure gauge. The air filtration is handled by true Prussian helmet Stelling and Hellings type chrome dome air cleaners. Oh, did I say the carbie bases were early Ford red as well as the thermostat housing that covers a new 180@ thermostat? This unit is fuel ready.
