If you can't find the shifter tower you need, I have one that has a small repairable crack near the end of the case on the gasket side of the shaft end (as opposed to the small fork end). It is where the shaft would hit the recess in at the end of the shaft run. The part number is 81A 7222, the tower is virtually straight (vertical) and measures about 5 and 1/2 inches from the gasket surface. The large fork is about 3 inches between surfaces.
