HI: I need a 35 Ford passinger door window regulator for a Cabriolet, I believe it is the same as the 33-34 Cabriolet and the 33-34 Convertible sedan front door RH regulators. It attaches to the door with six 1/4-20 screws. Must be in good working order.

I was able to find the regulator I needed. Thanks everyone

KIWI: The photo is correct, it is for an EARLY 35 that uses the 33-34 style with SIX mounting screws. The 36 style uses EIGHT mounting screws and is longer. It is possible the late 35 used the 36 style window regulator.

If the 35 Door is late? it may have 2 holes in it @ the crank handle like the 36 has. I have a 36 Cabriolet RH regulator @ $200 = shipping:)

Terry , If you are willing to modify the arm length slightly rear 35 convert sedan regs work . Didn't know early 35 cabs used 33-34 cab regs ! There is an NOS one that keeps showing up on ebay for $200 . Also pull up the thread on id'ing 32 regs . There are 32-early 33 regs that will work if you change the standoff nuts for normal D-nuts . Good luck David J

Terry , Here's a pic of a conv sedan rear reg that someone altered to use in 33-34 cabriolets . The giveaway is the rectangular plate on the spring side covering gear 2 that's held on by 4 rivets . Gennie cab regs don't have this . David J

I removed the above 35-36 Convertible Sedan rear door regulator. It would not raise or lower the front door window on a 35 Cabriolet evenly, the front of the window would sag. Dave you are correct the flat plate near the winder stem is the largest difference. The small holes for the regulator stops are not accesable once installed and additional holes would need to be drilled in different locations.
