I have a couple that look exactly as in your picture. Some of them measure 5 3/8 wide and some measure 5 3/4 wide. I AM NOT A '36 EXPERT but I think the later standard tire size went from 600 16 to 550 16 and this is why the narrower band. The dexlue continued to use 600 16 tires. Probably of no impact for your use.

Holy cow, don't cut a good tire band for fenders! Pieces often show up on epay and I hate to see good originals cut up.

Look for "chopper fenders" on epay too

Hey Dude, it's not like you didn't have a bunch of Fordbarners responding here to sell you these hot rod/street rod/rat rod fenders to be made by cutting up good Ford parts. Maybe with all this terrible hassle you have had trying to get these rings, you should have considered just runnin' fenderless
