Hi I know these things are hard to find, just missed out on a mint one on eBay, 150 bucks someone got a steal. Just wanna replace my standard wheel on my Tudor with a nicer looking banjo wheel. I'm in Australia but shipping shouldnt be problem from USA,
Also could someone shed some light on what other banjo wheels will fit? What difference is there with the 37-39 wheels?

Thanks
Clayton

'36 = straight spokes. Wheel and spokes are basically flat with cylindrical shaped spoke separators.
'37 = straight spokes. Wheel and spokes are basically dished shape with non cylindrical spoke separators.
'38-'39 = fanned spokes at hub. The spoke separators are also non cylindrical similar to '37 but slightly different in size/configuration between the two years.
you didn't mention which year slant car you have so I am assuming you have a '36.
Any of the above mentioned banjo wheels will fit your car. The only thing you should do is match the wheel with the correct year light switch/horn rod for the year wheel you use. Otherwise it will look funky and not fit properly. I have a perfect original '36 banjo wheel and a new never used Bob Drake reproduction (no longer being made) '36 banjo wheel. I would not sell either wheel for less than $600.00 USD. I do have a nice original '38 banjo wheel that I would sell for $300 USD.
