I want a wrench for changing oil on my '46 Ford V8 pickup. I'm tired of using a huge & heavy adjustable wrench. No Swap Meets at this time of the year and I don't want to spend the money for Tardel's. Can someone help? Thanks!!!!!

Measure the size you need then go to a bicycle shop. Its really an old bike wrench with many sizes on it.ken ct.

I measured the oil drain plug and was surprised to learn that it is a 2-inch hex. It seems that the V8 truck pans have a 2" plug. Sockets are available, but only in 3/4 drive and the price is high. I'll keep looking.........maybe some old farm implement wrench, etc. will turn up.
