Woven or bonded lining ?

What is the better lining for the brakes? A little history, my 37 Tudor has 48 hydraulic brakes with a dual master cylinder and the wide five drums. The backing plates I bought were fully assembled, I cleaned painted rebuilt wheel cylinders, the shoes and lining were in great shape so I reused. I am getting a chatter in the bonded shoes, seemed to be in the R/F I pulled the front wheel after about 500 mile and found a little grease on the shoe and drum, saw no leakage so I assume the shoes were saturated and it is now coming to the surface and causing the chatter as there was no chatter for a couple hundred miles.. So woven or bonded ? Thanks Zeke

There was a thread on this about a week or so ago. I think bonded was the conclusion, but that was with equalizers in the stock brakes.

I prefer the woven over the molded. They do not last anywhere near as long but stop much better.
