I need to replace the front header in my friend's '30 town sedan.
Windshield is out, visor is off. The header pan is still in place. I think it is only tack welded on each end but not completely sure.
I need a way to take that out so I can take the wood out.
If anyone has experience with this I would appreciate some direction.
I thought it might be as easy as breaking those 2 small welds, removing the rotted wood and reinstalling new wood followed by welding the ends back in place.
Any help is appreciated.
