Found with a old collection of Ford parts. I now have a factory 2-4 barrel air cleaner assembly for a Y block dual quad set up. Base top and has filter in it. Haven't seen one for awhile and not sure what it is worth?

DO WHAT?!?

Do you know the application and can you post a photo?

It came off a'57 Ford Pass car. As I knew the guy's car. He now passed and I got a large lot of stuff from his widow. My question was just looking for an idea on what they are going for. Mine is dent free and in original unrestored condition.I see he is asking $1700 something but realistically anybody have a range. I haven't a clue on how to post pics here.

Passenger car air cleaners go for less than the Bird styles.

I recently paid $850.00 for a Bird unit off of eBay. I would venture a guess that around 5-650 would be realistic.

The type you have was only used on the 56 and early 57 t-birds

I completely missed this during the first go-around.

I have finally figured out why the Oval ACL was used first on the 56 BIRD 8V Kit and both styles used on the 57 BIRD. The oval was discontinued early 57 BIRD production and the 57 FORD round was then used with a decreased ACL element height.

This last factoid pretty well clears up the period for me.
