Wiring help

I have an August 1928 tudor. I'm replacng my cowl panels and found my wiper wire taped on the passenger side with three clips and grommets. the middle clip has a u-shape piece on it that the cowl panel must fit in.

What route the wire take? I think it is to go to the junction box but how does it get there?

Also, should there be more than three clips and where should the clip that holds the cowl panel be (middle, left, right).

Is that same cowl clip used on the drivers side

I'm also looking for an ODC1B electric wiper.

I've posted pictures in the past of the kick panel/wire clips. Try doing a search with my name and "panel clips" or "wiring clips" or "kick panel clips". Hopefully the pictures will be in one of the threads. I could repost them if the new Photobucket would work for me, but it doesn't.

I love it when the answer is right THERE. Tom's pix is below. It's identical to my March 29 CC pickup.

Pix a bit large and hard to edit around. No matter GREAT pix showing. I see 5 clips of which only the outermost and innermost have the extra "u" to take the panel. The opposite side is the same clip, but they're "backwards" in relation to this pix. (not mirror image IIRC.)

If I remember correctly the cowl is punched/drilled to take the bolt, but it's the clip, or rather the pincher that pinches the outermost part of the joint together.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Joe. The round holes in the clips should have a rubber grommet for the wire to run through. Since my Phaeton has a hand wiper, it has no need for the rubber grommets and wire.

Mike Photobucket tells me they no longer work with IE7, which is what I have.
