Can someone tell me how much vacuum I should have at wiper motor for my wipers to function on my 1958 Ford? Please avoid remarks that I should purchase electric wipers. No more than I drive the car, I had rather stay original if I can get wipers to function like new.
If you are running off manifold vacuum only every time you accelerate or go uphill they will run slow since vacuum changes via engine demand,most folks will use a dual action fuel pump which also provides vacuum for the wipers,they do show up on ebay a fair amount.
