Friends... I need your collective wisdom on wiper motors for my '29 coupe. The existing electrical unit died (probably a J.C. Whitney special) and I'd like to replace this with either and electrical or vacuum driven unit.
Here's what i need: An interior mounted unit which uses the existing holes about 43/4" apart; a shaft and blade fitting that will accommodate an opened front widow; either electric or vacuum (I already have a tap in the manifold) and a unit which uses readily obtainable blades.
I have sufficient skills to rebuild a TRICO if the body was good. If your suggestion is TRICO could you (if possible) give me a model # or some other identification of the unit that meets all the items in the previous paragraph.
