My 1937 Deluxe, 1938 Standard and 1946 Jailbar still run their vacuum wipers. They are all New Zealand assembled RHD vehicles.
All of their vacuum motors, along with about six spares, have a 1/4" hex drive spindle (six sided similar to a 1/4" allen key) that the wiper arm pushes on to, then held on by the retaining nut.
Two arms ordered from the US, advertised as 37-39, arrived with a 7/32" fine splined hole that is supposed to push on to the motor drive spindle.
Is a hex drive version of the wiper arm produced?
