Winter Projects

Well, I am on the list to get a Lentville Huckster conversion done in the spring, so I will have a lot of cab and bed parts to sell off later...

I put a Lentville Huckster body on my old 29 CCPU a few years ago. They work great and since then I have picked up a number of trophies from car shows with it. Also a lot of interest everywhere I take it.

If you have questions, PM me and I will try to help.

I got one of those things from a swap meet and tried it. The cap on the filler tube made a rattle when the engine was running so I took it back off. Just my experience with one.
Fred,
Mine was doing the same thing. I took and put a small bead of red silicone around the inside where the cap mated with the body. Let it set for an hour or so, then while it was still pliable, put a piece of Saran plastic wrap across it and closed the lid. Let it set for another hour, took the Saran wrap off. No more rattle.

The vent I got has a pretty tightly fitting cap with a snap(?) type stop to hold it open, so I haven't noticed any rattle so far. Of course, on my truck at this point, it would be hard to pick out one more rattle!:D
Mine came from Mike's. Just slips on and replaces the stock cap, and comes with a clip to secure the hose to the steering column.
