winter oil

I live in north GA...getting ready to change oil for this winter, I've been using 20W50 this summer is that ok for this area or should i change to 10W40?
what wt. oil do you guys use in the winter in the southeast? Thank's.

I use 10 W 30 year-round in N GA.

how cold does it get there? if it gets into the 20's i would go with 10-30 or 10-40, you want a lite oil in the engine when first fired up for quick lubrication

I use Shell Rotella 15W-40 all year on Long Island, NY.
Its a light 15 weight equivalent in the cold (32 F) and a heavy 40 weight equivalent when up to operating temps (212 F).
