I am lucky to have a caring wife and lets be bring my Harley into living room every year to protect from rusting and also put 5' Santa on it also.

The Model A truck do not think I can get away with it.LOL

**So any of you use these Humidity Bags to zip up around your "A"s.**
** And if you have are you happy with it**

I have cinder block garage and at times makes the vehicles totally wet
with right weather conditions.

So would like to hear what you do to protect your "A"s or do you do nothing?
I am very anal about my equipment and keeping it like it was new for as
long as I own it..
Do wish at times I did not care but not my nature. Thanks Joe in NJ

Joe, a strong wooden garage with a heavy wood floor is the best in my opinion. I have a wooden barn but it has a cement floor and that gives off a lot of moisture with an outside temp. warm up. If I left my heater on low it would be better but using propane would also be expensive. If the floor gets damp in the spring I run the heater for awhile and that dries it up..

It will help to put down a big sheet of plastic, on the floor, as a vapor-barrier, and park on top of it. The bigger, the better.
MIKE :)

I've never used one of the humidity bags so I can't help you there, BUT in the spring when the temps change, my garage floor sweats. I put in an attic fan, the most cfm I could find with louvers in the ceiling. At the first sign of dampness I turn that on and put a couple oscilating(sp?) fans on the floor to stir the air. It takes the humidity out pretty quick. This is what works for me in a 3 car garage. Hope you find a solution, You're sure you can't talk the wife into putting a garage door in the living room? maybe roses? Good luck, Clyde

If my floors would have supported it I might have had it in living room.
I thank you for your information on removing humidity from garage.
I may purchase a Car In the Bag and give it a try.
My other thought is to rent a space that is heated for 3 or 4 months.
10X15 goes for around 150.00 a month..Wife not happy with this cost.
Thank You Joe in NJ

Joe, get some "Loc-tlte" from Home Depot and paint the inside walls and floor with it. If the floor is bad, cracked, spalling, etc, break it up and pour a new one with a heavy plastic moisture barrier underneath. Four to five inches of 4-5000Lb mix shuold give you a floor you and drive mediun trucks on. If you get the white paint, it will be brighter in there too.
