Windwing Glass

Does any one know if the Windwing Glass sold by the vendors is Safety Glass (Windshield) or Tempered Glass (Side Window)?

Thank you in advance.

I have bought the wind wing glass from Mac's and both the clear and the decorated wind wings are made of tempered glass. They have accidentally dropped on the cement driveway from their phony wind wing brackets and so far they have bounced without breaking. The Chinese wind wing brackets are crap and they need all of their fasteners replaced with American fasteners. I have done that on our three model A's so far and new fasteners has been the only way I have found to keep the wind wing glass in.

Thanks for the replies. I was looking on the vendors websites and did not find it. I have seen where they were used or suggested to be used, as windshields on Speedsters, sort of an alternate for the British made Aero Screen used on the small open type European sports cars. Something told me it was a bad idea. Thanks for confirming it.

The glass I got from TAM'S is safety glass as you can see the 2 layers with the layer in between. I had trouble with the hardware and corrected the problem by using 3M Extreme 2 sided tape to hold the rubbers in the hdwe and the glass to the rubber. No problem now for 2 years.
