Got a hole in the left side of the header that I assume is where the wiper goes. Also got a hole in the drivers side dash to the left of the steering wheel which is where I assume the wiper switch goes or it could be where the dome light switch goes. Looking to fill them holes with what's supposed to go in them. My dad had a 29 Tudor that had a manual wiper so just looking for some direction. The Tudor doesn't seem whole with empty holes.
Electric early on in 29, then later the vacuume wiper was used. I would have to look through my JS to see when the change was made. Luckily i picked up a nice Heinze Electric for mine so I don't have to deal with potmatal Owens Dyneto or the problems with vacuume wipers. Rod
Per the Restoration Guidelines and Judging Standards, page 20-2 revised 1997, a 29 Tudor body type 55A would have an electric windshield wiper through June 1929, and Vacuum from Sept on, the transition period between could be either.
Also, the switch is right on the wiper, and the hole should have been filled and painted, as there should be no holes in the dash other than the mounting holes.
