Windshield Weather Stripping

We are putting a winshield in "Duke" and the question is how to cut the ends of the weather stipping as it comes "down" the windshield and/or goes across the buttom. 45 degree or straight across or ??? Thanks for your respones in advanced.

Cut it at 45 and use super glue at the joint.

Do not cut until it has been installed 24 hrs the rubber stretch s on install and needs time to return to normal.

To glue the corners, a friend used the glue that comes with a custom "O" ring kit. It actually FUSES the rubber together. I think, "NATIONAL" is the brand name. I imagine you can buy the glue separately at auto parts stores.

I'm going to call the local bearing and seal store to see what they have for O-ring glue. I've used super glue on a couple, but if something can actually fuse the material that would be better.
