Is that a book published 2002 or later? If so I'd expect it to have most of the info you need. Just in case I've included the most common stuff here. The above wiper location is fairly easy to modify/correct.
These are the common frames and exclude the '29 Murray and Briggs frames as well as some other small variations. The early frame will not function properly on a '30-31 body or vice versa.
This shows an additional change. I don't believe it applied to all bodies in early '30 so you should test your clearances, etc. before finishing an earlier frame.
