Will the high hood open car stanchions work on a low hood car?

I'm building something similar to the Multi Aldrich car, but I have low hood rad, and a partial cowl (low hood steel firewall), and would like to have the raked windshield of the later cars.

I would really like to have something like a 3031 A that would have both a nice aesthetic rake and fold all the way forward parallel to the ground.

Even better, does anyone know of an authentic aftermarket setup that will accomplish the same?

Yes. The 23-25 style will fit high or low hood, the cowl is mostly the same with these T's.
