Windshield Screws

I have the sheet metal cover screwed, and nailed to the header
above the windshield. I need to know the screw size, and type
that holds the windshield hinge to the bottom of the header.
My 31 Coupe has 10 holes in the hinge bracket.

Thank's, Rich

I had seen those screws listed in Snyders, but they go in the 5
holes that attach the sheet metal cover to the bottom of
the header. The hinge bracket has 10 holes. Are only 5 of they
holes used for the hinge? Possible, but I thought the weight of
the swinging windshield might require more. Why isn't 10 screws
listed in the parts book?

I removed 10 screws from the hinge of my 1931 coupe as a prelude to removing the gas tank. They are 3/4" inches long. Don't know if they are # 10.

I may be wrong on this but I kind of think the screws you need for that assembly are "round" head screws...anyone?

Sorry for not knowing but that is what secured my windshield to my 1929 coupe...yes I know...yours is a 1931.

OK...Bratton's show #30210: 10 #10 x 1 round head wood screws used for that application.

Thank's for the reply's guy's. I'm going to try some round head
screws since there is no indent for the dished head of a flat
head. I'll check for interference when the windshield is closed
tight.
Thank's again, Rich
