Windshield interchange :59 Ford & Edsel

My Hollander only goes to 1956. I'd like to know if the windshield from a 1959 Ford 2 dr HT is the same as a 1959 Edsel Ranger 2 dr HT ??

My friend that has/is restoring 8 Edsels says yes. Keep in mind the convertable W/S is different from the HT/Sedan and that the rear windows are different Ford to Edsel.

Not to hijack the thread, but I have a chance to pick up some Edsel doors from either a 4-door sedan or wagon. I have a '59 Ford Custom 300 2-door that needs some window guts, door handles and vent window asemblies. Plus it gives me all the hardware I need.

Any idea if the parts would swap into my doors?
