Hello, Barn
It's time to install the windshield glass in my 30 CC P/U. I have read that there are several different tape types, and thickness, to use on the glass.

Anyone have any advice? Techniques?

Also, how does the windshield frame attach to the cab? I did not disassemble the cab, and it's my first A, so I am not sure how it goes. I have the piece that attaches to the top of the cab (like 14 screw holes) but I don't know how the frame attaches to that.

try little one inch pieces until you find the one that will go to gether without too much force, i tape the rubber to the glass with electrcal tape rub some motor oil on outside of tape it makes life easier Rick in BC
 
Thank you, Rick. I'll use that technique.

Now, does the top of the window frame just hang on the hinge channel? I can't seem to find any pictures/videos of the install.

Figure the hinge orientation, lube the hinge, then slide the hinge top onto the frame (always seem to slide easier from one side or the other). Get some help and screw the hole thing up into the header.
 
I was able to attach the frame to the hinge today, so now to attempt setting the glass....
