What caused this and how can I avoid it in the future? I will be traveling the same route at the same time tomorrow.
I was driving my Cabriolet with the top down. In over 20 years driving my Model A this never happened before. I was on the way home from a club function at 5 p.m. Daylight Savings Time. The sun was shining on the back of the windshield over my shoulders. Instantly, the windshield became a mirror and all I could see was the traffic and scenery behind me. I pulled off the highway immediately. I opened the windshield approximately 4 inches and proceeded very carefully; however, some of the glare was still present.
I am always thankful to each of you for your information and advice.
