I have 1937, 38 or 39 hinged windshield frame how can I tell if it is car or truck or are they all same?

1937 cars & standards were painted in 37/38 time frame. Most were chrome after that. I'm pretty sure the commercials (pick ups) had a different frame. A person would need to check the body parts catalogs for those years to be certain. All I have is the chassis parts catalogs.

If it's in good condition with little rust it's valuable whether its commercial or passenger.

Here is my 1937 DeLuxe Windshield Frame--it is chrome plated on the outside and painted black on the inside. All 1937 DeLuxe Cars had Chrome Windshield Frame and the Standard cars had a windshield frame that was painted body color.

The 37 frame split in the middle on the sides to replace the glass and the 39 is offset toward the bottom. The passenger and pickup farmes are the same for each of the three years listed, although the pickups tended to use the painted frame used on the Standard. There was a 37 Deluxe pickup that used the chrome frame, but I am unsure if there was such a thing as a 38 or 39 Deluxe pickup. My 39 had a painted frame. All of the passenger and pickup frames from 37-39 had the same dimensions and are interchangeable as to size. Open cars were not the same from what I remember, but I have never owned one.
