I have a new passenger door window from Vintage Auto Glass and need to replace the current one which has de-laminated. I have never done this before. I have viewed a few Youtube videos which were pertinent but not exact. I apparently need to remove the inside window trim molding, remove the roller pin at the bottom that holds the window channel, and pull the window in and up to remove it.
Question:
Do I remove the window pane with the regulator intact after it is unscrewed? I attempted this but the window crank rod sticking through the inner door panel seems to prevent it.
I know that proper placement of the new window in the channel is important and I have marked channel position of the old window to facilitate this
Any direction or suggestions are appreciated.
