I removed the driver side window in my 28 briggs with no problem but nw how do i remove the bottom track that connects to the regulator from the glass itself. It looks like a push fit but a very tight one. Are there any tricks, should i break the glass out or just buy a new lower track for the new glass?

if the glass is good lay the glass down on a flat surface use a block of wood and a hammer put the block of wood againt the lower sash slide the hammer over the glass and hit the wood, if the glass is bad you can drive a screw driver in from the end

The glass is cracked so im just looking to get it out. I thought about braeking it and chipping the rest out of the channel.

I lay the glass on a flat surface with the channel hanging over the edge. Have someone stand on the glass and you drive the channel off with a hardwood and hammer.

I have had good luck soaking the glass setting rubber with lacquer thinner. After about 15-30 minutes it usually comes off with a screwdriver.
