Width of ww on a 53 Ford

Getting ready to change the tires on my 53. Going with Diamond back radials and want to have the correct width ww. My tires are 8 plus years old and getting ready for a 800 mile trip in June to the eastern national EFv8 meet in Ga.
 
Don't know if there's a "correct" width. I think somewhere between 3 1/2 and 4 inches would look good. JMO
