I run 32 lbs in the radials on my wide fives -- and it rides and steers really nicely.

In my 35, I run 175/75R 16 radials on the front rims, 205R 16 on the back

What rim widths are you using front and rear Brian? Thanx, Don

hey Detonater,i appreciate your feedback. nice coupe.curious as to what size radials you running there? the modern radials are some what hard to find. i found coopers in 225/75R/16 trying to stay really close to height and width of the 6.50/16"bias plys that are on my '37 now. Tom.

Thanks. Tires are Stahl Excelsior: 5.50-16 and 7.00-16. They have a tallish profile like bias-plys. The wheels are stock Ford Wide-Fives in front and Ford accessory "Farm Implement" wheels in back. They're about an inch wider than the stock passenger wheels. I've heard them called "Manure Spreaders." I added a '39 steering box, too. It made a difference.
