Why would anyone go to all the work that was put into the '55 Wagon and then put in a SBC?

Saw this on ebay #171186922353 Notice this is a '55 Wagon. Ford never made a Parklane in '55, it is a '56 only model. Someone went to a lot of work installing all the Parklane parts. And even tail gate supports are chromed.

Then a SBC...

I did talk to the seller (I don't believe he's the owner) who agreed it needs a Y-Block in it, but wouldn't give me a HUGE discount if I bought it with the SBC in it, haha. Tried to explain that I would have to go to the trouble and expense of disposing of the SBC (hazardous waste??), but no go.

There are so many motors that will bolt right in, Y, FE, W, 385, with all those options, why look elsewhere?
