Hello Forum Members

I was returning from one of our local Fall fairs today and my Fuel regulator started to leak like a stuck Pig........... Just wondering who runs a fuel regulator.

I have a electronic fuel pump that runs along the frame, as well as a Fuel filter. This system is on my Mostly stock 38 1/2 ton......... Do most of you members run fuel regulators??? Does Ethanol based fuel cause problems to the Rubber diaghram in the regulator.......... and would this had been the cause of the leak.

Took off the Regulator and old Betsy ran fine all the way home:o

I run an Aeromotive bypass type regulator. They are made to run alcohol and nitro so no problems.
Yes, cheap regulators can have problems from ethanol gas.

Had problems with the small pancake one. And switched to a low pressure Holley. You didn't state which one is the problem.

Its a Mr. Gasket brand.

Never had any problems before, but have been using 10% Ethenol based Fuel.

Should I run non-ethenol based fuel?

The Holley one works just fine for me on my model A running a Holley 94. Adjusted to 1.5 lbs. and no issues.

I run a regulator at 2# and no problems, but I use the gas additive plus recreational fuel that is available in Michigan.
