Which bolt is correct?

On the door jamb of my 29 RPU there are two square holes that appear to be for carriage bolts to hold the wood piece to the backside of the door jamb. Of these two bolts shown, is one of them correct for this area? The one with the smaller head is the same as the ones for the bed metal strips. Neither one will easily pass through the square hole, but will thread through.

If neither of these is correct, does the correct one have to have a very thin head for door clearance?

They're small carriage type screws with a low profile head. It's a #10-32 so it easily slips into the square hole. It's backed by a small flat washer, lock washer then square nut.

Thanks guys! Pete, you crack me up. Needed that after spending the whole day trying to get windshield stanchions to fit right.

Russ;

I have a 28 Roadster, which should be the same, the rivets( either above or below,
can't remember) have the same size head an shape, they should all look the same.
