Ivan in southeast va. Senior Member Oct 12, 2021 #4 I would get the correct bearing for a 40 ford hub.
midgetracer Well-known member Oct 12, 2021 #5 V8 bearing up to 1948 is is the one to use. Model A bearing will not fit the 40 Ford Hub.
U ursus Well-known member Oct 12, 2021 #7 You will need Ford part # 68-1225 or equivalent bearing, used in rear hubs from late 1936 through 1948.
