Where to start on a 32 Model B 5-window?

Thanks everybody. All good advice. I'll be visiting with the owner in a few weeks and get a better idea of where he would like to start on the project.

Good on you for helping an older guy relive a part of his youth. Well done and all the best.

Hello all. I've spoken with the owner of the car some more. Turns out he got it in about '48 from the second owner. The car was parked basically about 1960 and hasn't really been run since. At one point during the 50's, it had aluminum pistons put in it and probably new rods at that time also. He believes the engine might be locked up, as they tried to move it a few years ago, and in 2nd gear, it would only drag the tires. The did not try to start it back then. That's been about 8 years ago. I'm gonna try and add the pictures everybody is waiting for, soon as I figure out how to do that.

1 get the book
2 listen to David G as he wrote the book.

you can search on here for starting an old engine. I have a B Tudor, not an expert by any stretch, but willing to help if I can. If you are helping a neighbor, take lots of photos. That way you can look something up without having to drive over to the car.

If you click on "go advanced" below there is a "manage Attachments button" this is how you add photos. they have to be small in size. A trick to do this is to open the photo, right click on it and select send to email. This should open an email message witht he file attached. Save this file to your desktop and then cancel/delete email. this makes a smaller version of the original file.

Ideally set the camera so the smallest file size and it is not an issue at all. Lots of storage sites. I uses Smugmug which I like. My signature has a link to all my photos.

Yes. working on this. Posting soon, I hope. Lots of rain here, so fixing the washed out driveway is coming first today. Thanks all.
