Where to measure float height from (Autoline 4100)

I know from the top of the float.

But WHERE on the float?

At the end of the float top closest to the needle & seat?

At the middle of the float?

At the very end of the float, closest to the driver's side fender?

Is the factory shop manual setting of 7/8 plus/minus 1/32 (wet) still the best one to go with?

Measure at end farthest from needle and seat. Best is to measure fuel level while it's running. Caution, running with top off carburetor is a fire hazard!
