Where to find seatbelts?

Last year someone mentioned a source for 2-pt retractable seat belts with a solid female end. I wrote it down and lost it. I just looked on line but it's hard to tell if any will work on a Tudor sedan. Anybody have any suggestions?

I believe Juliano's interior products has seat belts. I also believe that they carry many different colors. I have seen him on Fordbarn in the early V8 section. Hope it helps.

I have Juliano's seat belts in the Front & Rumble seat that are Retractable in my 1930 Sport Coupe for over 4 years and they are great. The only way to go.

Has anyone installed retractable seat belts in the front seats of a Tudor? Rear seat? Thanks.

Also, here's a link to another potential source: http://www.gotbelts.com/ I have not ordered from them but found it when searching.

Thanks for all the leads. I put belts in last year, but non-retractable, which is just a frustrating mess. I'll try one of these ideas.

Yes, They are nice belts I've installed them in some 1950's cars. A Google search with turn up his website.

Buy retractable seat belts. The non-retractable belts fall out of the car and smash the splash aprons.

We just finished installing retractable seat belts for the front seats in our Tudor. Followed the scheme laid out in Bill Lee's link, and it worked out very nicely. We bought the belts at Juliano's (Ellington, CT) - bought the ones labeled "Mini-retractable". They fit nicely and take up very little room. The only challenge we had is that the space between the body and the running board on one side was narrow enough that not even Diane's fingers would fit! Rube Goldberg was the man of the hour in this case as we finally got it together. The dimensions of the brackets suggested by Bill (thanks, Bill) were spot on for us.

Feels a lot more secure on the road now. Now we'll work on belts for the back seat so the grandkids will ride with us. :)

Thanks, I just wrote to them about 3-point selts and suggestions. Saw on YouTube where folks got bashed and killed in 31 coupe. Quite scarey and sad. The stearing column came back and up. Seat back may also have shoved the people forward.

One of the risks of being in a Model A crash is having the body separate from the frame, so you may want to consider if you really want to fasten the belts to the body, or the frame. Let's face reality-seat belts in an A are for minor disturbances, quick stops, etc. In a major accident at speed with a likely far sizable 21st century vehicle, you're pretty much toast-especially with the convenience of a gas tank sitting in your lap.
