Where did it go?

In my youth, I would agree with Ed. Now that I am older, I agree with jb-ob. I would rather drive the car and turn wrenches only for upkeep and repairs.
When I started looking for an A my wife insisted - NO PROJECT CARS. But there is an OHV conversion sitting in the garage waiting to decide if I build a Speedster or drop it in the Coupe.

The current issue of Antique Automobile (AACA) has a restored 29 Towncar for sale . $225,ooo

Here's the ad that appeared in the AACA magazine if anyone might be interested in adding another Town Car to their collection:

A year or more ago a really rough Town Car body came up for sale and there was a lot of chatter about it. Seems there was some controversy too. Don't want to open that!

My question is, whatever happened to the car? Did it sell? Is it being restored? As a kid I watched a TC being restored and have always had a fascination with them.

I tried the search feature....................

Was it this one:

.....and the Youtube slide-show showing several photos of it:

Brad, you nailed it. wrong chassis under it. body found in a city dump around Poughkeepsie in 1965.
you need a lifetime to finish that one.

on the one for 225k, at least it is a national award winner at that price.

Thanks Brad, that was a cool video as I've never seen that one before. Hard
to believe how all those guys didn't get into each others way.
