OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder)
Answer: When it is exhibited by the guy who restored your model A!

Here is the under side of of the driver's side front fender that 99% of the people will never see and will soon be coated by road dirt!

Oh well - 1/4 done on my front fenders. Whom ever gets this car after me should love it! :D

Stay off the dirt roads and it will stay nice. The bottom of my fenders look good, and I stay off dirt roads.
 
OC is NOT a D. People WITHOUT obsessive compulsive tendencies are the ones with the disorder IMO. That fender looks exactly as it should.

The point is that I actually enjoy this stuff. So no "pay back" is necessary. Yea, I know, I (and those like me) are a little nuts! :D
 
Way to go, PGERHARDT.....my '30 was restored in 1980 and it's never been in rain or snow or on dirt roads (so far as I know since the previous 2 owners only bought it to park in the garage and look at it) and I aim to keep it that way!
 
There are many obsessive compulsive people in the world.
However there are few successful people that are not in some way obsessive compulsive.

Now that is a sore point! I live on Candlewood lake in Danbury CT. Because we are on the water we pay some of the highest taxes in town. But because the town considers my road private, we get nothing for it. No road maintenance, no street lights, no city water, no fire protection (covered by a volunteer firehouse), no mail (I have to walk 3/4 miles to the end of the road to pick up my mail.), and because only us old farts live here - no kids and educational services!

But then this is the view out my back window at sunset. So I shouldn't complain.
