wheels & tires for lowered 39 ford

I used 205/75 x 14 tires on the front with standard offset 5 1/2 in wide wheels. I had a 36 axle from MorDrop and reversed eye spring.

New tires on!...no rubbing! Now the back looks too high!...lol

Looks fantabulous!
I like it how it sits, and don't think the rear is too high at all. Stance is everything and I think you nailed it.

To drop the rear.Use a reversed eye bottom leaf, remove 2 leaves(top and maybe 4th one down) from the spring and use 41 shackle bars. Those bars are about 1" longer than stock. That will get you down 3"-3 1/2".Just the reversed eye main leaf will get you down 1 1/2".

Thank you!.... I did install the reverse eye spring in the rear but still would like to come down some more!
waiting on new bumper brackets for the front bumper (china back order...lol)

Thanks. I liked it at stock height, but I love it lowered.
Did you get yours back on the road yet?

Your sedan looks good. When you get your bumper installed it will look even better! What is that green thing sharing the garage with that early ford? Are you running the flathead V8 yet? How about some engine pics?
