Wheel size 31 Tudor

After searching the web I found the my 31 Tudor should have 19" wheels. I think still not sure...lol

However my car has 21" wheels was this a common modification?

Some of my wheels are pretty bad so I may need to replace 1 or 2 of them.

Should I start over and just find 5 19" wheels?

Yes, good 19" wheels are around. My suggestion is try to find some that are from New Mexico, Colorado, or the plains states as they should have less rust or pitting. A great place to start would be Bert's Model A in Denver.

Originally 1928 and 1929 Model A's had 21" wheels; 1930-1931 Model A's had 19" wheels.

Go for the 19's. Try to find someone to swap 19's for your couple of good ones. Advertise in your local club's newsletter since shipping is expensive. See mafca.com and modelaford.org for local clubs.

Whatever you do, stick with some 19s. Too many As have been changed to 16s and look funny.
