I came across three model A wheels (and a model Y
) real cheap. I dont need them as such, but thought I'd give it a shot resurrecting them
The wheels are quite rusty but appear intact - a few bent spokes here and there.
My plan so far is to straighten the spokes, gently blast the whole thing and powder coat them.
Any advice to how to best straighten spokes without compromising the straightness of the wheel would be much appreciated.
Also - is there a rigorous way to check the rims (material thickness etc), or is carfull inspection and gut feel the way to go?
Thanks from across the Pond for all the great info on this site
